Hey There! I'm a 30+ year old mom and wife that works outside the home during the day, and goes crazy at night trying to keep life organized inside the home. Reading is my way to escape from my hectic existence. I've always been a reader. As a result of this passion, I attended the local University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature (talk about reading - that last year nearly did me in).

I'm a serious Diet Coke junkie. Like, it's literally my coffee in the morning. I down about 32 ounces in the morning, and another 32 after lunch. I know it's bad fro me, but when I tried to stop drinking it I was super grouchy and unhappy, and I figured if it killed me, at least I'd die happy because what's the point of living a long time if I'm miserable. I'm recently into running, and love to get out go for a 3-4 mile jog. It cleanses my mind and revitalizes me. I'm not so much on the step or aerobics classes. I think it's because I don't like people telling me what to do.

I like to read the classics - there may be something wrong with my brain, but I just understand Shakespeare and love him - as well as Charles Dickens. I've always found Murder/Mysteries intriguing, but as of late my passion is Paranormal Romance. Favorite authors include S. Meyer (of course), J.R. Ward (love her, but very adult content), S. Brockmann (MMMmmmmm, need me a Navy SEAL) and who can forget J.K. Rowling (I know, not romance really, but interesting and engaging none the less). And I LOVE series reads, so FanFic is great becasue it stretches out the story with characters I've come to love.

Music also plays a big part in my reading/writing style, and my tastes vary drastically. I'm mostly into Alternative/Rock like Linkin Park, Goo Goo Dolls and Fall Out Boy, but I also like to change it up with some fun stuff like Paramore. And you can never go wrong with the ever-classic U2. Either way, it can't be quiet in the background for my creative juices to flow.

So that's me! I act younger than I should, but have the maturity to confuse people. I swear like a sailor, have a feisty temper, and I can be manipulative and conniving to get what I want (although I call it charming). I'm mostly a lurker and a reviewer, but I would like to be a Beta one day. (Hey, I've got goals!) I'm a slow reader and I tend to remember minute details that later-on prove to be important. I'm also a very critical reader, and that can be a strength and a weakness because I expect a lot out of an author - sometimes too much. And hopefully one day, I myself can live up to those same expectations.
