There really is no premise to the story, just a retelling of the fourth year, possibly continuing further to years following in which Harry isn't a little puppet for Dumbledoor to exploit, and... well. We all know what happens when you change one aspect, the whole universe changes! AU! Inspired by Lady Androgene's You and Me Baby, Ain't Nothin But Mammals. As We Slip Into A COMA: Rated M for Possibly SLASH SEX (yes I said it) Ash, tired of the innumerable losses that seem to weigh down his very soul after his time in Unova, makes a few critical mistakes on his ascension to the throne at the top of both Johto and Kanto that leaves him so lonely that it seems to make his soul seem heavier. Paul is to the rescue with the entourage of rivals, but it appears as though their rescue of Ash causes more strange situations that good ones. Inspired by... my mind?
