Important Note: I am very sorry for the current lack of updates in any of my fics, but my computer crashed and fried my Hard Disk. I lost all my fics, notes on future chapters etc. It took me a month to realise I couldn't salvage anything of use and even longer to fix my computer and get back online. Trying to recreate what I had already written is problematic and as I've lost story arc stuff etc too, I'm a bit lost just now. I also lost college stuff and other real-life projects which unfortunately have to take priority right now. Please don't think I've abandoned fan fic - I haven't.

I love Buffy the vampire slayer and Angel and Harry Potter.

I like all things Harry Potter but I particularly adored Sirius - Damn you JKR!

However when it comes to Buffy I am most passionate about Buffy and Angel and their tragic love affair. I'm still totally miffed that they didn't end up together.

I was fixated by Buffy and Angel from the very first episode I watched, which was 'Reptile Boy' I loved them then and I love them now. How could they show us Episodes such as IWRY when they weren't going to end up together? Wah!

My main reason for writing is to fix that utter disaster and all my fics involve either a happy ever after or a prospect of a happy ever after for that couple!

Anyway, as you may have realized, Mad Kat is just a very fitting nickname - My real name is Katherine. I live in Southern England, with my mum and an insane cat named Baz.

(I think my Englishness would explain why my Americanisms in my fics may be slightly off sometimes. I do try to get things right but if anyone spots any obvious translation blunders please let me know.)

I'd love to be a writer for real but don't know If I'll ever be able to write anything brilliant enough to get published. But who knows eh?

My hobbies are reading, writing, gossiping with my girls, shopping, making my own jewellery and cooking. I used to do an assortment of sports - Judo, horse riding, swimming, skateboarding, Gymnastics and basketball but as my hospital file is thicker than me I had to give up! ...Broken knee, dislocated shoulder, fractured skull, smashed ankles, busted ribs, ruptured spleen... the list goes on.

I think I write pretty well for somebody who refused to put pen to paper for years - I was eight before I could or would write my own name! Now I can't stop writing and my ambition is to have a book published - It is weird how things turn out.
