About me:

You might want to know that I am a Harry Potter fan, in what I call "a HP frenzy". I've been reading boatloads of fanfiction in these past three months, and now I've actually been considering writing one, shocker.

I'm also a fan of the anime Ouran High School Host Club and the anime Deathnote.

Writing:

I know this is no excuse, but I'm still what you would call pretty young, and the quality of my writing could reflect that. My greatest weakness in writing is descriptions. Oh how I fail at that. I don't appreciate my limited vocabulary, and that makes it harder for my descriptions in the stories. So I would like a beta reader who is pretty good in that aspect (hint).

Pairings:

Honestly, I don't like any pairings in Harry Potter. Not right now. Pairings that I especially dislike, find unrealistic, or find disturbing (even canon pairings) include Severus x Minerva, Severus x Hermione, Draco x Hermione, Ron x Hermione, Cho Chang x Harry, Molly Weasley x Harry (what kind of pairing is that? ewww), Harry x AlmostEveryone . I'm not too big on slash, but from time to time I read Tom Riddle x Harry, hence the "almost everyone". Yeah, you might find that disturbing xD. But, eh.

My favourite pairings in Ouran High School Host Club are Kyouya x Haruhi , and Mori x Haruhi. But, in Deathnote I have no favourite pairings.

Favourites:

I especially like Dark!Harry, Independent!Harry, Powerful!Harry, Slytherin!Harry many of these including Manipulative!Dumbledore (I really wish someone would explain why those exclamation marks need to be there. Hahah. xD I see it written like that a lot and am curious.) These are among my favorites because Harry knows that Dumbledore's manipulative (although many of these stories exaggerate far from canon) and he breaks free of him. Harry knows what's what and I just admire that independence and his Slytherin cunning. I like mentor stories too. Severus mentors Harry, or Voldemort mentors Harry.

My top favorite Harry Potter stories, the ones I can remember off the top of my head:

1. Fueled Anger by ssj-burnout

HPxFEM BLAISE! Harry is deeply angered by the loss of Sirius, Dumbledore's lies and Manipulations, and the betrayal of his friends. What will happen to him? Will he turn dark,stay light, or walk the line between both?

2. Out of the Night by Raining Ink

After 5th year, Harry chooses to take charge of his own life. He's making decisions that will change the course of the war, and he's determined to learn the truth about Dark magic. Independent!Harry eventually Dark!Harry, not romance.

3. Arms of a Dark Angel by Snapegirlkmf

Neglected by his caregivers, little Harry would not have survived were it not for the mysterious dark angel who helped him. Harry never knew his name, until he went to Hogwarts and discovered a certain professor bore a remarkable resemblence to his savior

4. The Patient X by Seraphin1977

Hermione volunteers as a helper in St. Mungo's to treat the victims of the war. She has to take care of only one Patient. Someone, who waits for his execution. Lord Voldemort. Hermione tries, sometimes more, sometimes less successfully, to make him feel remorseful. She is torn between the cold-hearted dark lord, her friends and Voldemort's vengeful victims.

I don't know how I could have not included this one. Maybe I read it after I wrote this. Yeah, probably. This is one of the best stories you will ever read.

I highly recommend these.

Plots and characters:

I like AU, and I'm not much of a stickler for canon. If you want canon, reread the series. I'm not a fan of OC in the main character. My favorite characters would be Severus Snape, Draco Malfoy, Tom Marvolo Riddle, Lucius Malfoy, Blaise Zabini, Remus Lupin, and Nymphadora Tonks.

What will happen if seven-year-old Harry meets a snake who mysteriously wandered into his cupboard who tells him about the wizarding world? What if Harry practised magic, and used it against Muggles? Could he still turn into the Gryffindor Golden Boy which Dumbledore hoped to mold? What if, instead, he went Dark? Includes Dark!Harry, Powerful!Harry, Independent!Harry, Slytherin!Harry, and Manipulative!Dumbledore.

Stories I Will Be Posting:

Well I have considered writing a story from an idea I had while writing Ut Exsisto Liber. It plays with the idea of Vernon sending Harry to an orphanage when he got him, like his first instinct, instead of listening to the letter Dumbledore sent. In that story Harry will be going to St Mary's orphanage, the same one Tom Riddle went to. He'll have been there his whole life. Maybe he finds a letter of some sort from Tom Riddle. Idk.

Update Rate:

I would like to submit once a week, or once every two weeks, but I will make no promises. I have as many assignments, quizzes, and tests as the next person. Not to mention a personal life. I usually write only a paragraph, or so per day. But I don't even write every day; I actually write when I find time. xD; But I really don't think the intervals between updates will extend more than a month.
