I HAVEN'T BEEN POSTING ANYTHING 12-29-09 Well, the new year is round the corner! Not to mention some lucky people are still experiencing that wonderful Holiday Spirit! Happy Holidays to all of you- and have a magnificent new year! In terms of the rewrites, I still need to get on top of that... Damn I need a new computer. I really hate to give you all excuses, I sincerely do! But at the moment, Microsoft Word is being an arse hole: I type two words and it either decides to a) lag for over half an hour (no joke), or b) stop working. Notepad is still an option, however I have a serious problem when writing chapters if every paragraph stays as a single sentence that elongates the window and forces me to scroll right in order to check that everything I have written is correct!! Not to mention the lack of spell check frustrates the living snot out of me... 1-3-10 Hey! We haven't nuked ourselves yet! Isn't that great? 1-9-10 I went to the beach with my family on Sunday, and some family friends decided to join us. I, being the only person who doesn't squeal herself giddy at the slightest hint of Twilight out of this particular circle, decided to leave the Twilight fans in peace and instead went for a swim. I swear on my life, so fucking scary!! I was swimming quite happily when out of nowhere this hoard of fish starts whizzing past me. I, also being a complete idiot with no instincts, turned in the opposite direction to see what the hell was freaking these fish out. I swear to whoever ya'll being in, I can face to face with a fucking shark. Not just any shark! A FUCKING PISSED OFF TIGER SHARK. How did I know that it was pissed? IT FUCKING ATTACKED ME!! I have never been so scared in my entire life! I managed to whack it with a hysteria-driven, flail-esc kick, but my God I thought I was going to be fucking eaten- or at least lose a good chunk of flesh in the process! I got to shore and I scrambled up to the beach to where my mom was and told her about the shark. My mom, my sister, our family friends- none of them heard me screaming. I still shake when I think about it! Right now I'm in tears looking back on it! If that shark did manage to get a hold of me, nobody would have known what was happening to me!! Do any of you guys know what it feels like? Imagining how close you were to death with no-one noticing you dying?! Not even those you care about who are literally only yards away?! Who are probably laughing amongst themselves because of some funny joke while I could have been ripped to shreds?! Oh God... I honestly don't know what to say! I'm scared. Plain and simple- but I grew up on the beach! I grew up in the water, I love being in the water! How am I supposed to go to this open ocean boat-trip in two days with this fucking memory?! Fucking shark... God damn it, fucking shark. 1-10-10 The Biology teacher showed us a video on sharks today. I twitched through the whole fucking thing. Broke into tears when I excused myself to go to the bathroom. 1-11-10 I decided to go on the trip anyway... fuck that shark! I'm not going to let that fucker ruin my life! I love the water far too much to never swim again! ... although, I still needed to hold my friend's hands as I got into the water. He was so sweet, didn't rush me once nor did he complain- and it took me literally half an hour to get in the water. But by God I feel so good having gotten in! He, my other friend and I swam the longest out of all of them... although most of my time was spent looking below to make sure that no attacks from below would catch me off guard. On the way home we fished! Danny, the guy who held my hand, caught a barracuda! The Supervisor, Mark (he told us to call him Mark, no clue what his last name is!), caught a Grouper (or a Hamour, whatever you were brought up with), and I caught some medium sized fish... don't know what it's called though. The best part about the fishing experience was when we reeled the fish in! 9 times out of 10, somebody was hit with the fish! For example, Danny's barracuda whacked me in the face when we tried to cut it off the hook, as did Mark's Grouper. My fish managed to whack Danny in the face, while Sarah (the other person who swam with me), managed to get whacked in the face with her own fish twice xD All in all, I had a really good time. A mostly paranoid filled experience, but in the end I feel so great known that I did it! IN YOUR FUCKING FACE, FUCKING SHARK!! 1-13-10 WHAT THE FUCK?! NOW they tell the public that there are sharks in the water?! A BIT FUCKING LATE, ASSHOLES!! A. BIT. FUCKING. LATE!! 1-17-10 We just took our exams today. Unfortunately, the fire alarm went off during the first exam. Since our school is sort of pressed for time calendar-wise, we couldn't reschedule the exam and instead completed it with no extra time. Meh, I finished anyway, but I wouldn't be surprised if half of my answers were wrong since I basically raced through the remainder of the exam like a troubled child on crack. |
