I am only saying a few things, as the reason for this account is solely for the purpose of me keeping up with my favorite fan fictions. They are as follows:

1. I despise how some fandoms are just infested with yaoi/slash. I dont really have a problem if there actually is yaoi/slash in the actual real story, like i could maybe see some Orochimaru x Kabuto, just because he is just sorta...well I wont get into that now. I wouldnt read it, but I dont really have a complaint about it. But saying stuff like Naruto x Sasuke, Harry x Draco, or god forbid, and I have yet to ever scorch my brain with this, Shinji x Gendo, is just not right. I mean, they are all clearly not homosexual at all. Naruto has expressed a large desire to wed Sakura(Stupid choice, but whatever floats his boat), Harry and Draco are a lot more likely to kill each other, and Shinji x Gendo...no. Just no. As far as I know, the only male character in Naruto that is seemingly immune to having their orientation changed is Jiraiya. Hehehe.

2. I cant stand high school fics at ALL really. I mean, in series where they actually GO TO SCHOOL, I dont have a problem at all, like say Neon Genesis Evangelion or Bleach. But Naruto or Kingdom Hearts(dont worry, I never actually read that drivel other than a few gems) just dont work. I mean hell, ninjas just dont translate well at all to high school. In the manga they are slashing at each other with huge swords/knives and blasting each other. But in the fan fics, they...are crying about not being popular and crap. Just complete bull.

3. Mary Sues are so damned annoying.

4. Self inserts are annoying.

5. What really gets to me is something that really isnt something i really can complain about, due to the nature of the freely submitted fictions. However, I just cant stand it when there is an absolutely great fanfiction, over 100,000 words, and all of a sudden, it isnt updated anymore. I know that this is solely at the whims of the author, but it would be so much better in my opinion ,if they just somehow indicated what the probable future for their writing is. Just a note, be it in the fic, or in their profile, if they were abandoning it, or if they were just taking a break, and would eventually continue it. Ah well, I guess I will just hae to enjoy the fics while they are written...
