![]() Author has written 6 stories for Harry Potter, and Twilight. My writing style has changed a lot in the four years I've been part of this community and as such my older stuff is (let's face it) terrible. But for reasons explained below I'm reworking it and keeping it up anyway. I have been writing little scraps behind the scenes for a while now even though I haven't updated in a very long time. I feel like my writing has changed a lot in that time so I don't think I will be able to finish the stories I have at the minute. I'm sorry to anyone who that may disappoint, unlikely as that is XD I will leave my old stories up though, in case anyone wants to read them as well as to document my progression as a writer. I'm definitely one of those people who, once they get into a series, gets very easily addicted. The good thing about this is that when you're into it you can write like there's no tomorrow. But the flipside is that when it fades no amount of trying can bring the spark back. In my life thus far this 'total obsession' has happened three times: The first was Harry Potter, a beloved but innocent obsession which was almost over by the time I began writing. Never the less, I do have a few first attempts at stories belonging to the fandom (most of which are so bad they shall never be seen by eyes other than my own). Although my detailed knowledge is a little rusty, I still hold it dear and consider it my favourite piece of literature. I am not likely to write a multichapter story for Harry Potter but a One Shot may happen the next time I re-read the series. Twilight replaced that, taking me by surprise in a fan-girl-like frenzy. I never liked the whole Edward and Bella story but the movies drew me in and when I read the books the other stories within them got me hooked. I fell in love with the series and, although I mocked Meyer relentlessly, I couldn't get enough of the fan fiction and the quality of some of the authors. Twilight introduced me to real hardcore fanaticism and educated me in the ways of the internet; it was a worthy master. My style eventually matured, thanks to a lot of help from reviewers, and I have learned so much from the community. But honestly even before I had discovered something to replace Twilight, my enthusiasm for the fandom was wanning. My writing was uninspired and I became so bored I gave it up. I've found a new love and maybe (if you really want) I'll tell you were to find my new stuff. Otherwise, thanks for sticking with me and sorry to have abandoned you -Hasta la Pasta!
