Anyone else have a box, or 10, filled to overflowing with scraps of paper and notebooks? Words, ideas, thoughts and story bits all resting uncomfortably in their dark nests? Good thing paper doesn't spoil, eh? To be honest, I've never published, but I have been critiqued. I guess that's the first step and it was a big one.

I work for a living in a dull house of insurance but secretly dream of fantasy and sci-fi endings to my days and nights. My favourite authors are Douglas Adams, The Bronte Sisters and Charles Dickens. I read a little bit of everything, from technical manuals to biographies. My favourite subject is science fiction comedy, now that's sometimes hard to find.

As far as movies and TV shows go, I'm partial to the CSI series as well as just about every Star Trek series out there. I recently discovered FireFly and fell in love with Mal. Too bad they stopped the series, it was the best thing going in Sci-Fi TV. I also enjoy Frasier, Wings and Soap...remember that one? I also play or have played Gemstone IV, World of Warcraft and Guild Wars.

I hope to have some writing posted soon. I encourage and welcome reviews and critiques. I'm off to a slow start, but with a little encouragement, I just might write more.
