Hey fanfictioners,

Ah, where to begin? My names Jac (I also go by the name Mercury) and I only recently joined fanfiction.net, although I have sometimes/often been reading and commenting without having an account.

I don't really write, well I do but I'm quite self consious about it - so you probably won't find my stuff up here.

I recently put up my Torchwood story - Touchwood. I really should have edited it first, so if you do read it be warned as it contains some typos.

NOTE: If anyone knows how to interchange a story for the updated version (I found the edited one! It was on my usb *sigh of relief*), please let me know as I'm a bit of a fanfiction noob...

I was unsure of what to rate it, but then considered if 5 year olds and 10 year olds are reading fanfictions (which is the 'K' rating) and clicked on mine by mistake, then I'm unsire of what they would think... So I'm taking precautions and placing it as a 'T' ('T' for Touchwood!)

I'm embarrassed by my narrative writing skills. (I tend to read more than write)

Fictions I'll read involve:

- Rocky Horror

- Harry Potter (Drarry FTW)

- Torchwood

- Sherlock

- Muse *sigh, matt bellamy*

- Doctor Who

- Spooks

- The Mighty Boosh

- IT Crowd

- Code Geass

^^^ I'm sure there's more, I just cannot think of them at the moment. Oh, and from this you can easily gather my favourite things.

I forgot to mention... I despise a certain thing called Twilight (sorry everyone... too sappy for me and it isn't really a vampire book/movie in my eyes. Where's the blood, gore and horror?)

My two favourite bands are Snow Patrol and Muse, though I do like other bands. (examples: Pendulum, Arcade Fire, Phoenix, The XX, the list goes on...)

My favourite books are 1984 by George Orwell and Blind Eye from the Logan McRae series by Stuart MacBride.

I don't think there are any Logan McRae fanfictions out there, but an interesting one would be if Captain Jack Harkness (Torchwood) met Roberta Steel (Logan McRae Series).

No one person in the town of Aberdeen would be safe! (If anyone has read Blind Eye, then my reference is Steel at the hospital!)

I am a big Jack Harkness fan - I have a WWII great coat in my closet (which I got for Christmas) and a vortex manipulator prop in my room (which I often wear!)

I tend not to like movies (as I prefer television - movies are soooooo long!), but I really like Johnny English, Rocky Horror and a horror movie from Thailand called 13 Beloved.
