![]() Author has written 1 story for Alex Rider. Name: My initials spell out S. M. E. M. F. Age: Still required by the government to attend to school... Ethnicity: Halfbreed mutt! (half white, half native american) Favorite Color: Black, it's all the other colors mushed together! Favorite Sports Team: FC Barcelona Favorite Animal: Dogs, cause they will pull you out of a burning building, cats on the other hand will smirk and watch the flames. Some stuff about me: At the moment I am living in the wonderfully sunny American state of New Mexico. I say at the moment because I've got family in the military so I've lived in about ten different places including three foreign contries. My main hobbies include playing viola, doing technical theatre (set construction, lights, etc), soccer/rugby, and working at animal shelters. Until age six my goal in life was to be a backhoe driver, then I wanted to be an Airborn Ranger until I found out my country won't let me do that cause I'm a girl, and now it's up for grabs between training animals for movies or search and rescue, doing tech for theatre productions, or joining the military. Yes I really have no idea what I'm going to be after I graduate. My randomness and lack of focus will probably come acrossing in my fics... As a special note. If anyone needs any info about the military (army/spec ops in particular), I grew up with this stuff and can explain or clarify any questions you might have. Some Quotes that I like me: “Oh, you hate your job? Why didn't you say so? There's a support group for that. It's called EVERYBODY, and they meet at the bar.” - Drew Carey "War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things: the decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth a war, is much worse. A man who has nothing which he is willing to fight for, nothing which he cares more about than he does about his personal safety, is a miserable creature who has no chance of being free, unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself." - John Stuart Mill What happened to the cat that ate a ball of wool? She had mittens! "Discipline is the soul of an army. It makes small numbers formidable; procures success to the weak, and esteem to all." George Washington Demotivators: Indifference: It takes 43 muscles to frown and 17 to smile but it takes none to just sit there with a dumb look on your face. Accomplishments: You can fool all of the people all of the time is your effects budget is large enough. Achievement: You can do anything you set your mind to when have vision, determination, and an endless supply of expendable labor. Arrogance: The best leaders inspire by example. When that's not an option, brute intimidation works pretty well, too. Consulting: If you're not a part of the solution, there's good money to be made in prolonging the problem. Other Random Quotes If we aren't meant to have late night snacks, then why is there a light in the fridge? Anyone noticed that studying is like 'student' and 'dying' put together? Whoever said nothing is impossible never tried slamming a revolving door. Whilst being eternally positive may not get you anywhere in life, the people it annoys along the way will make it worth it. I never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience. Someday my prince will come. He just took a wrong turn, got lost, and is too stubborn to ask for directions. Sometimes friendship isn't about telling the truth. It's about trusting someone even when they lie. "We're not retreating! We're advancing in a different direction!" |
