Favorite (short story, Naruto) - Kakashi has favored the Uchiha boy over his other students, all who have now gone on and sought training from the Sannin: Naruto with Jiraiya, Sakura with Tsunade, and Sasuke with Orochimaru. Sakura is the only one left in Konoha, and she is Kakashi's reminder of his failure to see his neglected student's hidden potential. Struggling with past disappointments, the two learn to build a relationship that secures hope for the future of Team 7. This story will be relatively short, and will have no pairings in the strict sense of the word. It will center around Kakashi's relationship with all of Team 7, but with particular emphasis on Sakura, since she is the only one he has contact with now that Sasuke and Naruto have left Konoha.
