I'm a twenty-something from Massachusetts who has been a member of FFN since before stories had chapters. I've been regularly reading and sporadically writing fanfiction for at least the last decade. I was first drawn to the scene through anime, but have since moved on to other areas. I'm a lifelong science fiction fan and am involved in math and science in my professional life. My earliest postings to this site were in my early teenage years and not necessarily of the utmost substance nor quality, though I hold myself to a higher writing standard at this stage in my life and hope that readers will recognize this distinction.
