Hi Fanfiction Folk.

I haven't ever done a profile, since I hadn't intended to use this account to post fanfiction, only to read and review, but I've decided to change that. So, what there is to know about me is that I'm currently getting a PhD in psychology, and another masters in art theory, also known as art for those who suck at art. I plan on being a therapist that focuses on visually artisitic therapy, seeing as the internship that I've been doing ith that has worked quite splendidly. I would, however, like to someday move to Paris and be an artist there, though I'm not exactly sure what kind of art I'd do, seing as the only thing I've created that's ever come close to looking good is one of those extra neat stick figure things of my niece in crayon. But like so many of my fellow students, I'll figure that out later.

I started writing fanfiction before I actually knew others did, when I decided to create my own Harry Potter characters and continue the story. At the time, I sucked at writing of course, seeing as I was about ten and hadn't even read anything other than J.K. Rowling and Lemony Snicket. I later discovered Fanfiction.net, and my writing began to improve. I ship the couples Rowling created generally, although I will support Luna/Neville if people realize that they don't get together in the end. I'm not a big alternate universe fan. Sort of. It's complicated.

I also became inspired by many of the stories for Revolutionary Girl Utena (which I'd been watching since my cousin stumbled upon it at the library and tossed it to the side with disgust, thus making me determined to watch and love it), and decided to give them a go. I must say, I am rather pleased with the results. My favorite characters are, of course, Akio and Anthy. They're so interesting, and wierd, and sexy, and I looooovvvveeee theeeemmmm. (Proud to say they are the only people I'm fangirlish about). My favorite ship is Utena/Anthy, though I also love Touga/Utena for some unkown reason. I do have my own character that I like to ship with Akio, but it's hard to write Akio in character, especially if you're trying to make him actually be in love, so I apologize and understand if you get pissed off because I'm simply writing what I want to be true.

Anyway, that's generally what I'm all about. If you're looking to know things like my favorites, I love Hayao Miyazaki (what anime fan doesn't?), D-Gray Man, The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, and Paprika (which is the basis for my name). My favorite musical artists include The Police, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Killers, Jack Johnson, Lady Gaga, Britney Spears (don't kill me!), and Muse. I like a lot of songs from a lot of bands. Books that are awesome include... Brothers Karamazov by Fyodor Dostoevsky, Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy (I like Russain writers), The Hobbit and The Lord of The Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien, Anna Dressed in Blood and The Girl of Nightmares by Kendare Blake... Among others. So many others. Favorite foods: Tomatoes. If you put vinegar and salt on them, it's like eating a non-sugary more solid form of ketchup... kind of. And do heath bars count? They're SOOOO good. Like, REALLY good. Be them alone or in ice cream, they remain the most amazing thing ever.

Yeah, before I go on a highly illogical rant about Heath Bars, I'll stop. So, looking forward to writing and having people hopefully read my stuff! Good day!
