 Author has written 26 stories for X-Men: Evolution, Skip Beat!, Four Brothers, Harry Potter, Companions of the Night, and Gankutsuou: Count of Monte Cristo. Hello and welcome to my profile, I'm Umi Pryde, but you can just all me Umi. I go by this name online rather than my real name. You can find me on LiveJournal at umi_pryde and on DeviantArt as umi-pryde. I had back surgery for my scoliosis May of 2007, I still suffer from severe chronic pain and it affects my health and mentality greatly. I write whenever I can, usually in journals first. Longer stories will always be written down, in need of typing, rather than a short one chapter story which I may just sit and write up on the computer. MY FANFICTION UPDATE NOTICE: Feb 2018 If any one is a member of or reads fanfiction on AO3 (Archive Of Our Own), then you can look me up there as ( UmiPryde ). I have posted a few of my oneshots there and will have a few Dragon Age: Inquisition fics posted up there soon (hopefully) as the game and fandom have completely taken over my attention. - I'm working on rewriting and finishing 'By the Minute'; and the last 5 chapters to Morning Discovery. Though the above is currently taking up most of my time. - After the above, I will type up the rest of 'Seeing Past the Darkness' from my journals. Along with continuing my Skip Beat fic 'Love Me Days'. - The above is my game plan. How long it takes me just depends on my health and how much time I can spend on the computer. Once I get done with all the above, I have a few other stories written down in my journals I would like to type up and post both here and on AO3. I know over the past few years it seems I have abandoned my stories, and I apologize for that. - Despite what may seem like inactivity or story abandonment, I seriously desire to finally finish my open stories. As I can only sit at a computer for so long, all I ask is patience and understanding as I continue with anew interest in submitting works that I have to work according to my body's timeline, and I have a lot more bad days than I do any semblance of good ones.
