It's been awhile, hasn't it? I've had a pretty complex relationship with this site. I began in 2007 as a little old writer named Glowworm666. Remember that? Don't look it up; the stories are terrible, nothing but stupid "parodies" in the Cartoon X-over section (I can't even look at them now without dying a little inside). I quit that when I felt bored, then came back as Midnight-Hunter13 (maybe. I have no idea where that account fucked off to even though I remember making it. I tried looking it up, but can't find it, guess it never existed). I dropped it for two years and now I am reborn, like the phoenix, as TheWordSmith26.

Except I'm not a fiery bird from Egyptian lore. Whatever, you get the idea

I am currently working on the "Pokemon Misadventures" series with my co-author/boyfriend who goes by the moniker "Fetch", and this will be an ambitious project. It's a humorous, oftentimes demented, take on the Pokemon games with references to the anime and manga, and featuring many pop culture references. We will be starting with the RBG/FRLG games and go from there.

EDIT (3/10/17): Okay, maybe I lied a bit when I said we were technically not on hiatus, oops. Real life got in the way and my wonderful boyfriend/lazy partner-in-crime "Fetch" has no motivation anymore to write. But fear not! I will finish this story, even if it kills me! I have been going back to older chapters and editing them b/c I look back and go "ugh, I can't believe I made those grammar/spelling errors" or "ugh, I hate that plot point/character arc/Pokemon team/etc." I'm evolving as a writer and I want to improve prior works if I think I can improve it. I literally have three more chapters or so planned, so I'm going to upload the final chapters that follow our original story here so you guys won't be left hanging, THEN I'll upload the newly edited one to my AO3 in case you guys want to read it there. Yep, I have one of those now. If you guys want me to upload the new version to FF, let me now in reviews/messages. And then...who knows, maybe the rest of the stories will follow. And don't worry; Fetch will still edit my chapters to make sure they have that demented, strange tone all of you truly read this series for.

I might do other stories if I'm inspired enough, or if anyone shoots me some ideas. So, with that intro out of the way, here's my profile thingy-mabob.
