When I write fan fiction I try to stay true to canon and the characterizations the creators/writers have already established. Sometimes an idea will hit me and I'll fly with it, but not to add myself as a "MaryJane" or indulge in some sort of shipper fantasy. I write fan fiction to enhance what is already there. I write it to honor the actors, the creators, the writers and the fans of the shows I enjoy! I love to write fan fiction because it is a very easy genre to write for. There isn't any need to describe the physical characteristics or exposition that has already been set down in canon. It’s a great joy for me to piece things together and to poke at previous plots. I make it a study in relations. How one person or one incident relates to all the others. I commonly use dream sequences if I’m going to delve into something that isn’t strictly canon, so be on your guard when you read. It may not be what you think it is. . . CURRENTLY I am working on a major undertaking and I am looking for authors willing to help. Please read below and let me know if you are interested! Thank you! Looking for authors to assist in writing a CSI:NY/Criminal Minds/L&O: SVU story! Hi all! I'm looking for a co-author or a few co-authors that would be willing to tackle a huge project! I would like to write a detailed and in-depth story combining CSI: NY, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit AND Criminal Minds. Ok. Here's the deal. I think they would go very well together! A match just perfect for fan fiction fodder. Of course, TPTB would hit a gold mine if they did this for real! (Don't you think?) The Behavioral Analyst Unit (BAU from CM) is called into investigate a serial rapist/murderer in New York. Of course, by this time NY SVU and CSI have been working on the case and need more help. It would only be natural that the NY CSI and SVU would have worked together in the past, but to cement the relationship Stabler (SVU) and Mac (CSINY) may have known each other in the marines! Or/And it's possible that Agent Gideon (CM) knows Captian Cragen (SVU). Not much is known about Gideon's real early history, but he could have been a homicide detective with Cragen in the 1960's or fought with him in Vietnam. I don't know if there are any authors that enjoy all three shows and would be interested in helping me out. I'm looking for a hard worker who is creative and knows at least one (or all) of the shows really well. Post a reply or send me a message if you are interested! Thanks a bunch, |
