yay to you if you take the time to actually read this!! Wow, you must think I'm really interesting... or don't have anything else to do. Well either way, I guess I owe it to you now to tell me something about myself.

My pen name is, as you might very well know, Rock Garden. My real name is Elke and I'm 16 years old (born in september 1987). I live in the Netherlands, so if you happen to stumble upon a grammatical error, it's because of that.

I have lots of hobbies, including dancing, acting, reading, listening to music, eating, sleeping, and of course writing. Having this many hobbies does have some negative sides, because combined with friends and school, they will sometimes take so much of my time that I don't have enough time to write and/or update my stories.

My editor: TreeLeaf. She's a great girl and acts as my editor, muse and help with writing. She's also one of my two my best friends. Yep, I know - she's terrific and bless me heart that I have her!
And big thanks to Ms-Sorceress because she's willing to help me with the progress of Waking Up, she's a great help and inspires me to write further!

Stories you should go and read right now:
- The Treasure of the Moon by MS-Sorceress
- Maiden Voyage by Jaffa Fairy
- Ensnared by Mooranda
- the other stories I have on my favs list

FAVOURITES:

Well, these are my all-time, absolute favorite bands over all others: Deep Purple, Supertramp, Pink Floyd and Eels, though in thruth there are more than 30 to which I have sold a little piece of my soul because I love them to death! Most of them being rock, old-school or alternative in general.

Fav colour: that would be green. I'm IN LOVE with that colour, don't ask me why. And I've dyed my hair green! Well, half of my hair. The bottom.

Fav movie: I would have to say Pirates of the Caribbean and Lord of the Rings. Though I haven't seen the third movie yet, I'm sure it will be just as great as the other two. I also like Shrek and The Emperor's New Groove. Those movies are sooooooooo funny!

Fav food: Ummmm... at the moment I can only think of lasagna.

Fav comic: That one's very easy. I generally hate comics but there's one that is so absolutely great that it's almost literature. No really. Elfquest, originally made by Wendy and Richard Pini. Go and worship them! And check it out if you haven't heard from it yet - I'm sure you'll be blown away.

Fav subject in school: I guess art class. I love to draw and paint although I hate being given a grade for it - teachers have their own taste just like everyone else, so my grade pretty much depends on whether me teacher likes it.

Fav quotes:
- What takes only a moment to learn can take a lifetime to master
- I never put off till tomorrow what I can possibly do the day after
- I didn't say it was your fault --I said I was going to blame you!

Well, I'm a bit out of favourite things (oh, that sounded way too Sound of Music - help me? I'm sorry but I totally hate musicals, Sound of music in particular)but if you wanna know anything else about me, feel free to email me and you will almost certain get a response. I loooove emails!!
