This story will follow the exploits of Daryl Dixon and Beth Greene after the fall of the prison in the Season 4 Midseason Finale. Having lost their home, their family, and friends, Daryl and Beth are forced to set out on their own. The brutality of their world and their survival instincts will set them on a course to form a bond they never expected.

Beth has been separated from her family and friends after the destruction of her Daddy's farm. As she wanders through a haze of loneliness and fear she meets someone new and in doing so begins a whole new journey in her life. The only question is...how long will this happiness last?

Beth just wants to learn to survive, she just wants to help. Somehow she ropes in Daryl to assist her and in the process learns what really makes him tick. Two years have gone past since the fall of the prison and Beth and Daryl have found a new group to call their own. They are still stuck on the family they lost that day but have agreed to start partaking in society again. It seems like the perfect place for them until trouble starts to ensue. Bethyl.

When the prison fell, Daryl and Beth escaped together. Now cut off from the rest of the group, they realize their true feelings for each other. This is the first part of the story.

Non-apocalypse AU in which Beth, the youngest of the Greene family, has lived a really sheltered life: typical southern belle, attends church on Sundays, gets straight A's, etc. But what happens when she decides to try something new? (Slow build with a slight crossover involving Sons of Anarchy and Breaking Bad though knowledge of either show is unnecessary.)

Beth only knows one person who can understand the darkness inside Carl and help her friend. But she doesn't anticipate all the ways he'll change her too. Beth seeks him out to be her hero but in the end she'll be much more to him.
