My name is JessicaRae and this is my little corner of Fanfiction.net.

I'll be writing in the TV shows category under the shows: Supernatural and Psych. I also have a story planned as a sequel of sorts to the movie Cellular, starring Chris Evans. This movie is one of my all-time favorites and I thought it needed another chapter to delve deeper into the life of Chris Evans' character, Ryan. So, be on the lookout for that in the future.

Supernatural:

God, I love this show! Despite having the scrumptious Jensen Ackles in it, the show has a STORY and a creative team behind it that actually knows what they are doing. Thank God. This show has suspense, action, horror, some romance, mystery and so much more. Most importantly, though, this show has heart. It is essentially a show about family and the two brothers, Dean and Sam Winchester. That is the soul of the show and why it stands out from the rest. If you haven't seen this show, check it out. You won't be disappointed. I recommend buying or renting the first season, though. Then you'll know what the heck is going on in the second season. You can catch Supernatural every Thursday on the CW at 9/8c. Record Grey's Anatomy and check this show out!

My Supernatural writing style: Well, I will tend to focus on Dean quite a bit as he is my favorite of the two brothers. I love Sam, too, though. I like to write episode tags to help me learn how to write their characters so that they don't get OOC in my chaptered stories. When I get some chaptered, longer, stories up they will tend to be like episodes of the series. I won't go too far from the canon sandbox when it comes to writing. I'll delve deeper into their characters and such, but I want my stories to be like additional episodes of the series. I do know that I will hurt the poor boys more than the show does. I just can't help it. Especially when it comes to Dean. It's weird how we hurt the ones we love, isn't it? evil laugh

Psych:

The pilot of this show got me hooked. Shawn, the fake psychic, is very funny and very charming. Gus, his best bud--and only his best bud, mind you--is the perfect offset to Shawn's character. They make great comedy together. The frustration Gus has for Shawn as well as the interest he can't help when it comes to solving cases is fun to watch. Not only that, the mysteries they solve are original and well done. All in all, I love this show as it is just a great fun show to sit down and enjoy Friday nights. The first half of the season was great and the second half will be even better. Be sure to check this show out on the USA network, Fridays. The second half of the first season starts in the middle of January, so don't forget about it! A second season has already been agreed on, so Psych will be around for a while.

My Psych writing style: I will heavily focus on Shawn in all of my stories. Especially on his relationship with his dad, and also with his friendship with Gus. My Psych stories will be a bit more serious than the series, but the humor will still be there, of couse. I just like to experiment with Shawn's character and figure out what he is hiding underneath the smartass, devil-may-care exterior.
