Author has written 7 stories for Harry Potter, and X-Men. I started this account when I was 16, incredibly green to writing, and in the throes of teenage hero-worship. These stories reflect that period of my life, and are the epitome of the genre known as "Mary Sue angst". Most of this is Harry Potter fluff, Sue-fic, and poorly-constructed poetry. Really, I'm cool with this. Except that these stories, this screenname, and the Harry Potter genre at large aren't me anymore. What am I now? I'm a writer, a scientist, a student of the intricate world of molecular biology. I am a college graduate and a Ph.D candidate. I am in my mid-twenties, be-spectacled, and on a mission to revamp a lot of absolutely awful cliches of the fantasy genres. I am a person who tries to present views on all sides, to make villains sympathetic, and to humilify heroes. That, in a nutshell, explains the metamorphosis. So, to celebrate - or rather, reflect the changes that I've had throughout the years, I will refer you to the work of Mad Morrigan. I'm keeping this account as posterity, though, to look back on and cringe and see how far I've come. I hope you enjoy these works, and please drop me a line at wrath.of.ghengis@gmail.com if you like what you see. |
