Hmm... Not sure what I'm supposed to put here exactly... My pen name is KanyaD-28; it's an alias with one heck of a back story, and a lot of irony.. I am an art student, currently in my junior year of college. I have a small (read:huge) addiction to fanfiction, and once I find one worth my fancy, I begin reading nonstop. I particularly love yaoi/shonen-ai, though recently I've been trying to find appreciation in what is the hetero relationship. I also love non-romance stories full of action/adventure/gore, so now I currently search for stories of that ilk :P And awesome crossovers, cuz I'm cool like that.

On Story Updates

Life is being, well.. life, so Secrets in the Clock hasn't been updated for a while. I had my sights set on updating before I went off to school, so I wouldn't have to worry about it too much and focus on the moving process-- but then life got even more complicated. Ultimately, SitC will be updated as chapters are finished (which just a way of saying that I am absolutely not ahead in that department, as I was originally when I first started the prompts..). I estimate this to mean an update every few months, but hopefully never more than three between chapters. Any changes to that plan will be updated here, so check back often for any word on that line.

The next update should be by the first of May ( or earlier, but please don't quote me on that).

Stories to Expect in the Future (...Eventually)

1) During chapters of SitC, I've mentioned a plan to write an alternate version of the 'drabble' collection. Truthfully, I wanted it to be horror themed, with some explicit gore scenes to satisfy my inner macabre enthusiasm. However, with all of that MA crap going on, it's looking like I won't be able to do that. Well, at least not here... If I find a site that I feel good about joining to post my lovely horror story, then I'll mention that by the conclusion of SitC. If not.. I'l probably still search for a way to 'imply' the much darker themes I want to cover. I have no intention of having my stories deleted.. That would just be heartbreaking :(.

2) I've been quite taken with Harry Potter x Any Story crossovers, particularly HPxNaruto. I've seen a lot of stories where a team of ninja are sent to guard Harry, or Harry/Naruto is somehow thrown into the other world. But what about the other characters? Like, say, Cedric Diggory? I love Cedric, particularly in fanfiction where he somehow survives and changes the way everything goes simply by living and being close to Harry. Understandably, I was shocked [read: devastated] to see that there were no stories out there featuring Cedric somehow getting transported to the Konoha/Suna/Ame/Somewhere in the Naruto-verse. I've got a few skeletons planned out so far, mostly concerning the Unforgivables, Tsunade, and possibly Kabuto. Once I have my life going properly, I plan on doing a pilot chapter, so I can see if anyone would be interested at all...

3) Another Harry Potter fanfiction, one that focuses on Harry's abuse. I have half a mind to put him in another House, most probably Hufflepuff, since they take care of their own. I haven't got much farther than that, though..
