It's been four years since the Night Howler scandal and Dawn Bellwether, now a free sheep, struggles to rejoin and redeem herself in the eyes of a world that sees her as a monster. The aristocratic fox stopped right in front of the dirty, grey bunny in shackles, wearing a slight smile on his muzzle. "Rejoice, because as of today you are my property, rabbit." Judy Hopps clenched her paws and, not paying attention to the surrounding guards, servants and slave traders, spat right into his face. "I do not belong to anyone, you bastard." She snarled defiantly.

Bellewether was in custody and Nick and Judy were friends once again. In fact, the Chief himself offered the fox a job on the force. What more can a fox ask for? Good balance would be one of them. Another being that the Nighthowler pellets be more resistant to being stepped on. Can Nick resist the influence of the serum? Or will he lose himself to its sway? One-shot JxN

She never believed in the afterlife and never gave it much thought either, probably should've since the line of duty can be dangerous. She's not sure what is happening but if this is what happens when you die then this must be hell, she can only ponder who she wronged to deserve this fate and how come that smug looking fox can see her?
