Now they must adapt to fight a foe who won't be seen for far longer than human history.

My take at the events of Mass Effect 1, with a bit of a change: "Commander Shepard" is two very different individuals. A pair of friends since childhood, who have never served together before are brought together as Humanities first human Spectres. Initially will follow relatively truthfully to the game, but out of necessity (and fun) will shift away later. Story 1 of Planned 3.

Skyrim doesn't know it yet, but the final battle to decide its fate is swiftly approaching, and only the faction leaders can band together and stop this threat before it's too late.
