I'm an old time Sonic fan, been with the franchise since my babysitter would play through the harder levels for me while I ate grilled cheese sandwhiches. The last sonic game I played was sonic unleashed, and I gotta say I've been depressed about the direction the games have been going since Sonic heroes, so I kinda quit buying them. Don't get me wrong, Sonic Heroes was great, the storyline good too, but I just couldn't make myself sit down and enjoy playing it. Favorite Sonic game: Sonic adventure 1 Why?: Because it was Epic. It was the first Sonic game that really brought the characters to life and gave them personality. Also it was the first Sonic game I played that seemed like it actually had a story, other than there's eggman, jump on his head! All of the Characters had a separate story that brought them together in the end, even big, who was just looking for his friend played a part in the bigger picture. Favorite Character: E-102 GAMMA Why?: Gamma was the first Sonic character I've ever seen 'die' in a Sonic game. I know he was a robot, but he's still gone. His own journey throughout the game was unique, taking him from a mindless slave of Robotnik to a hero rescuing his 'brothers.' Not something you see very often. Least favorite character: E-123 OMEGA Why?: He's just a copy of Gamma, used to fill in the spot he left in the games after he died. Don't get me wrong, I don't particularly despise the little robot, just that he's kind of a filler character. (I love stories that include him though, he sees so little screen time in the games.)
