Afterimage = Modern AU - Various.
Written in different perspectives; Modern AU/Mystery.
Ragna is a skilled photographer who is barely keeping his life together after the death of his ill girlfriend, Nu. After his brother introduces him to an agency that seems to be promising in payment, he finds that he'll be working with a quiet young model (who resembles his deceased lover) and her troublesome manager, as well as a few others who he eventually learns how to work with. However, the disappearance of Lotte Carmine somehow gets him caught up with more than just shooting pictures of lovely women...
Hopefully, will contain this within 13 chapters.
Note that I have changed a few names to keep this accurate with modern times.

Below are just ideas that struck my mind.

Hakumen/Tsubaki - Angst/Friendship. Upon receiving what seemed to be a true body again, Hakumen begins to feel closer to humanity, a connection he never wanted to feel again before given the suit. An 'old friend' appears before him and unexpectedly attempts to comfort him as a stranger, even if he is the one she longed for all her life.

Sol Badguy/Ragna the Bloodedge - Mainly Crack/Humor. Ragna is taught how to handle his DEAD SPIKE correctly.
