Hey folks. I'm much more of a reader than a writer, but I'll have occasional drabbles and one-shots posted whenever my muse attacks. I tend to enjoy Naruto and Harry Potter fics above all, but I tend to flit around a number of other genres, especially anime that I've seen recently or taken an interest in.

Used to be more specific about ships, but these days I'm above all concerned with how a story reads. If I'm enjoying it, it's added to my list.

I have nearly infinite patience with good and excellent authors, my blessing and curse, as many of my favorite authors are generally the ones who update the most rarely.

I may do occasional beta-ing for others when it suits me, but I'm generally lazy and it's fairly rare..

My list of pet peeves (a.k.a. the reasons why I drop fanfics from my favorites list on occasion):

People who can't figure out how to at least run spellcheck, if they can't find a beta. And on top of that, who can't be bothered with fixing grammar mistakes at all.

People who consistantly misspell canon words or names that are listed RIGHT THERE IN THE BOOK.

People who keep using the word "the" before a person's name. (Example: "Ninja ninja ninja!" said the Naruto.) I hate this with a passion for some reason, and I think part of it is because it shows an incredible amount of laziness on the author's part where they were most likely going to use a description instead of his name, and then changed it without paying any attention to the overall sentence.

People who write crossovers in which the main character is outright handed the unique, signature abilities of every other character. Some people probably find this awesome, but I personally find it shallow, lazy and outright demeaning of the characters who worked hard to develop these abilities and would never merely hand them over, no matter how much of an alternate universe the story is. If every character has unique, signature abilities, then it's the author's responsibility to make this crossover work for their own unique abilities. That doesn't mean they can't use abilities that are common- or even uncommon-use but available to many people (like the shadow clone, in Naruto, would be fine to give out) but I wouldn't want to see Naruto give the Rasenshuriken to Harry Potter, nor Nanoha just handing over the Starlight Breaker to Ranma, or anything of that nature. It just doesn't work for me.

People who throw in enough objects, ideas or characters to make a story into a crossover fic, and then say it's not a crossover.

"High school setting" fics, and other similar AUs that just demean the entire point of the anime and the characters.

My all time favorites (and most highly recommended fics) by genre:

Harry Potter: Authors Jeconais, Ruskbyte, and Rorschach's Blot. Also, Mastermind Hunting by Louis IX, but skip the final chapter and imagine your own end. The rest is made of awesome. Harry Potter and the Sun Source, by Clell65619 is also amazing and well worth it. Also, Harry Potter and the Nightmares of Futures Past, by S'TarKan.

Naruto: For the Love of my Friends, by Foxie-Sama is my oldest and arguably favorite Naruto fic. Followed closely by Konoha's Legion, by Jeconais, and Team 8, by S'TarKan.

Inuyasha: The Lucky Ones, by Terri Botta. (not on ffnet, google it.)

Tales of Symphonia: Two Worlds Combined, by Venus Tenshi.

Love Hina: A Friend in Need, by Tezza1502 and Ships in the Night, by hawker-748.

Cardcaptor Sakura: Alter Egos, by Aishuu.

Hikaru no Go: The Neverending Road, by Leitbur.

Final Fantasy Tactics: Heart of Gold, by SerialRavist.

Lucky Star: Lucky Future, by RezleVettems.

Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha: Game Theory, by Immatrael is by far the best one on this site, hands-down. Also in close running is Diamond Dust, by Satashi and Emerald Dream, by Satashi.

Hyperdimension Neptunia: Overheat, by Kuugen the Fox.
