A fateful meeting resulted in him being assigned to watch her closely, and Mercury did his job well. However, he didn't actually plan to start caring about her. He supposed he could be worse off. Opposites attract after all, and a cookie loving huntress and a cold-blooded assassin are about as opposite as you can get.

Somehow Jaune ended up saving Weiss after the fall of Beacon. But the scars from that day wont close at all. So now Weiss will folow him to Haven and save Jaune from himself, before she loses the dolt she never knew she needed.

What if Adam had left with Blake in the "Black Trailer" and had joined her at Beacon? How would this change the overall story? Who would Adam be partnered with?
