Fear can make good people do bad things, as the saying goes. The wizarding community was half heartedly grateful to the boy-who-lived. Thankful Voldemort was gone but suspicious of Harry himself, they never fully embraced him and when he became a Slytherin, many began to outright persecute him. But Harry finds a friend in a red headed girl as lonely as him.

Some people, they're important. They're born with destinies, courage, bravery. They have tasks to accomplish. Vital things like saving the world. But some people... Some people slip through the cracks. For them, it takes everything they have just to save themselves.

Harry makes a promise to Ginny that he will come back to her after fighting the horcruxes with Ron and Hermione. When Harry comes back after fighting Lord Voldemort, he goes to tell Ginny about his promise to her. It's a "bumpy ride" along the way but will Harry be able to keep his promise and go back to Ginny? My take on a Soul Bonding story. It is set slightly AU. Harry and Ginny forge a Bond when Harry saves Ginny in the Chamber of Secrets but it doesn't manifest strongly till they start becoming closer.

As per reader requests I am starting a long story from one of the Harry Loves Ginny chapters. This one is After the Chamber and it will become a Soul Bond Story but in a different way than most. Chapter 1 is basically the same with minor changes.
