A Moment in Time

Summary: The US was hit with the Harry Potter craze in 1999. Children and adults alike became enthralled with JK Rowling's masterful series. Many of those fans visited Britain so as to better understand the story. Elle Taylor was one of those fans. Yet the London that she tours is not up to her expectations. On the contrary, Elle finds herself the target of many strange occurrences and personal. What happens to this All-American Girl when she finds herself trapped in another England. Only catch is, in this England there's a Dark Wizard on the loose, an underground resistance movement, an immovable government, and magic . . .

Summary: What kind of relationship did Petunia and Lily have before the latter received The Letter? Did Remus and his family expect a letter from Hogwarts, even though Dumbledore was Headmaster? Did Snape have any doubts about going to Hogwarts? What was Diagon Alley like through the eyes of Pure Blood James Potter? What did Sirius feel about leaving behind his "favorite cousin" and best friend?

All these questions will be answered in this piece about what magic is like the first time you witness it.
