Socially inept high school student from Cali. I haven't touched this for over a year. It's nice to see people actualy read my stories and took the time to review them (big thanks to all of you that have taken the time to read or review any of my junk). Perhaps I'll write something in the future. But don't hold your breath, it probablly won't be started (much less finsihed) anytime soon. Woohoo! Look at me! I can type anything and it'll show up here. How neat.

Updated Disclaimers/Notes: The grunt behavior in this story is based on the ones in-game. Thank's to Crow T. Robot for bringing to my attention that grunt behavior varies wildly between that shown in the books and that in-game. Also, I'm getting the title changed to avoid getting the story cofused w/ another story about a Jackal (called "The Jackal"), since in the future I hope to write stories from the POV of all the other Halo enemies (Hunter, Elite, Jackal, and hey, maybe even the Flood..) and don't want any confusion. Anyways, just clarifying a few things.

Another note: Regarding Crow T. Robot's statement about Grunt's cannibalizing the dead, I have been unable to find any specific references to this behavior in The Fall of Reach. Nevertheless, the grunts in Fall of Reach are noticibly more aggresive and vicious when compared to the fleeing-in-fear, sleeping-on-the-job grunts of the game.
