![]() Author has written 11 stories for Shakespeare, Les Misérables, Harry Potter, Sherlock, Battlestar Galactica: 2003, Wicked, and Glee. Hello, I'm cailin na gealai, which translates from Gaelic as "girl of the moon". I was previously on this site as Lorem Lunae, but I like this name much better. I'm a sci-fi/fantasy nerd, a Shakespeare addict, and an avid writer. Fanfiction is the nerdiest thing I've done to date. (Unless listening to trock is nerdier, I haven't decided.) My vocabulary is vast and my sights are set high. I'm a self-proclaimed nerd, wielding knitting needles as my weapons. (When the Zombie Apocalypse occurs, knitting needles will be valued weapons. Yeah, that's why I have so many.) I write a lot. It's cathartic. I do a lot of acting. When I turned eight or nine, my friends decided they were too old to play pretend. I refused to give it up, and found my way to the nearest community theater. I haven't willingly left since. Shakespeare is bloody amazing. I'd say Macbeth is my favorite, with A Midsummer Night's Dream as a close second. I tend to buck the trend. I'm often the fish that swims the other way. I've got lots of favorite writers: William Shakespeare, Eoin Colfer, J.K. Rowling, Tolkien, Neil Gaiman, Orson Scott Card, Madeleine L'Engle, and Suzanne Collins, just to name a few. I watch far too much British television and thus have severe crushes on Matt Smith, David Tennant, and Benedict Cumberbatch. I do love my skinny British boys... I'm a Christian, but don't hold that against me :) I'm not aggressive about it. A word on pairings. I generally ship anything canon, with a few notable exceptions: Harry Potter: Luna/Fred, Luna/Neville, Snape/Lily, Scorpius/Rose, Scorpius/Albus Severus Les Miserables: Eponine/Enjolras, Eponine/Montparnasse Hunger Games: Katniss/Gale (Peeta sucks!), Cinna/Portia Artemis Fowl: Trouble/Holly (I absolutely hate Artemis/Holly) Battlestar Galactica: Lee/Kara, Roslin/Adama (squee!) Doctor Who: I get way too fangirl over River/11, and of course I love the Ponds! Sherlock: John/Sherlock. Forever. Also, Molly needs to date someone who isn't psychopathic. Avatar The Last Airbender: Zuko/Katara, Aang/Katara, Sokka/Yue (so sad!), and a bit of Toph/Aang By Order of the The Official Time Lord Registry, Let it be known that on September 7, two thousand and eleven, Cailin na Gealai gazed upon the Untempered Schism and saw time in all its infinite possibilities and eternity and went mad. Her chosen name is The Singer, for her understanding of the universe's infinite harmony. So it was chosen and so it shall be, The order is stamped with the Seal of the Time Lords. http://forum.fanfiction.net/forum/The_Official_Time_Lord_Registry/88918/ Carpe diem! cailin na gealai |
