Naruto Primer is a series of short-stories that are nicely fitted together, written by ( at this time ) Link and Luigi. Some OOC mishaps, sure, but this is by far my favorite fanfiction ever. It's over now.

I didn't give it a whirl until around chapter 40 or so, it looked pretty stupid to me. But as I read it, man did it hit me hard. I recommend this to any and EVERY Naruto fan who may have skipped this up.

With all the great new anime and manga that have been popping up, like Bleach and Naruto and all that lot, it gets really easy to forget the basics. I know I can speak for about fifty percent of the community at least that the first stories we read here were under the category Anime Dragonball Z. I know we need to move on or whatever since the series is old, but reminescence never hurt anyone too much.

That said, check out DoraMouse.

It's sort of long but definitely worth it. Check out 'The Yamucha Chronicle' which retells the story of Dragonball/Z throughout one of the more unappreciated characters' perspective. It's refreshing, complete, and it actually makes you feel like writing Dragonball fanfiction.
