That awkward moment when you don't know if you should use text lingo or standard English for stuff like this . . . crap.

Anyways, (I use that word a lot,) I guess I should say something about myself here. I've been on this site (officially) for two(?) years now, and I still feel like the noob. But that's fine, I tend to learn the ropes better if I'm the baby of the group. I'm also an extreme introvert, enjoy the pastimes artists tend to like (read, write, draw), often share my opinion when nobody's listening, and remain pretty darn liberal. And that's about as much as anyone needs to know. However, you can probably learn more about me just by the look of my author's notes. I tend to be longwinded, in every sense of the word, and I do apologize for that. I think it's gotten progressively worse, but I'll try to work on it.

So, there's about ten different reasons as to why I like being on this site. But the important ones pertain to what I read and what I write. I, personally, feel like this is a great learning experience. Both to become a better writer and to avoid the mistakes of others.

Most importantly, though, I like the idea of community and being surrounded by like-minded individuals. Yes, despite my inward nature, I'm always up for discussion and conversation on basically anything. My inbox will always be open for that.

Fandoms!!!!

k, there's way too many to list, but I'll list the ones where I'd even consider doing a fanfic on. I mostly read this stuff too. Well, not really.

Code Lyoko, Kingdom Hearts, Supernatural, Ugly Betty, Glee, Modern Family, Sherlock, Heroes, Twilight (eh, maybe), High School Musical (only Tryan), Blue Bloods, Downton Abbey, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Bible, Fried Green Tomatoes, etc.

Face it: there's just too many. Pretty useless to bore you with those. =P

Reviews:

A/N: I try my hardest not to ask for reviews. I've been around this site, and I know there's a tag everywhere you go asking for reviews. Even in the summaries (which is a little tacky, no offense). So I may ask not-so-subtly for them once or twice, but I'll try not to ask too much because it gets old.

When I Review: I tend to be the nice reviewer. I always look for the good traits in a piece of writing and compliment the writer on it. I may suggest ideas or something to improve the piece, but I won't smack anyone down. As much as I know criticism is good to hear, I also know that you can crush someone completely by pointing out all the errors in their writing.

When you Review: I always try to reply back to what you say because reviews mean so much to me. I'm not sure if it's a courtesy thing or I feel I have to have the last word, but I do like to reply to those. The only exception is when it's an anonymous reviewer or you disable the PM thing.

Go Green, Recycle Characters!!

Some Things I like to Keep in Mind:

1. Never contradict the fandom unless it's purposely AU.

2. Be realistic.

3. Keep the characters in character (at least to start out with).

4. OCs are minor characters.

5. Be original. If it's a cliché, make a twist.

6. Write decent summaries. They're like advertisement.

7. Take suggestions, but don't try to ask for opinions.

8. No pointless smut. It's pointless.

9. Correct grammar, spelling, and word usage matters.

10. Refrain from using first-person POV.
