11/06/11 Update/Clumping:

New: I know I'm not the fastest updater (unless I'm on a roll), and I know I've been updating spottily lately anyway, but because people have been asking: no, I haven't abandoned any of my stories. Some are in awful writer's blocks, but I'm still working on them. Thing is, I don't want to half-ass anything. Neither you nor I deserve that. So you may not appreciate the length of time between updates (I often don't, myself), but it's for a reason: I don't want to give you crap, and you don't want to read crap.

Of course, this is not to say that I don't appreciate getting notes asking if I'm still working on specific stories or if I've disappeared ('cept for times I've tried to notify people that I'll be gone, which, alas, often doesn't work too well on a site like this), because I do. They let me know what stories people feel the most passionate about, and I certainly don't mind answering questions (even if I'm not the fastest responder, either). I like being accessible, and I want to be available. *smile*

Old: I am the type of author who works on many things at the same time. I am frequently slow to update (or, as is more common lately, crazily fast with updates), slow to motivate (still true), but fast with ideas and inspiration (definitely true!). I come up with new story ideas all the time, but never forget about my old stories. Time passes fast for me, so it always surprises me that half a year or more has passed without me updating a story. I never forget my stories, and I'm always working on them. They will be updated, but probably not as fast you'd like. I'd apologize for it, but that's the way I've always been (and insulting me in a try to get me to update pretty much just misfires and makes me less likely to update).

If you notice a definite or slow change of writing styles within a current story, it might be because the story was started in the years 2003-2005, and has been evolving since then (as well as whenever I open Word, I seem to change styles automatically). I have, however, tried to keep the style similar throughout.

To All My Warehouse 13, Myka/H.G. Readers (or Those Who Just Really Love Me *grins cheekily*)

On July 21st, 2011 the online radio show Femslash4Fans, run by the amazing Allaine, interviewed me and my fellow fanfic author (a damn good one with many, many amazing Myka/H.G. stories who I heartily recommend you check out if you have not already) Athena Mou about Warehouse 13, the Myka/H.G. pairing, and our fanfiction.

And here's the official blurb: Having spent the last show discussing one of the biggest femslash fandoms on the Internet today, this week F4F dials it down a notch and looks at a smaller fandom for a hit show on a smaller network. We’ll be talking about the original sci-fi drama “Warehouse 13”, which just began its 3rd season as the latest in a long line of high-rated and highly-regarded Syfy original series like “Battlestar Galactica”, and “Stargate: Atlantis” (also a topic on this show). “Warehouse 13” deals with a top-secret facility that stores artifacts with fantastic and/or dangerous powers, and the agents tasked with the job of locating them. Specifically we’ll focus on the subtextual pairing of Warehouse 13 agent Myka Bering (Joanne Kelly) and tragic heroine-turned-villainess Helena “H.G.” Wells (Jaime Murray). Neither the fact that H.G. only appeared in one-half of Season 2, nor that she was a grief-maddened mother trapped in a century that wasn’t hers, nor that she tried to use the Minoan Trident to start a new Ice Age, seems to have prevented the Myka/Helena pairing from gaining a dedicated following in the femslash community. Probably it didn’t hurt that Helena put an end to her suicidal quest for Armageddon because she couldn’t bring herself to kill Myka. Or that apparently we haven't seen the last of H.G. I’ll be joined by two authors – Athena Mou, who has probably written more Myka/Helena fanfic than anyone, including the “Changing of the Seasons” series, and purrpickle, author of fics like “Helena in Beautiful, Flowing Cursive”. My cohost will be past guest and herself a Myka/Helena author, Erin Griffin.

I was (and am) sincerely honored and psyched to have been invited to the show, especially with the caliber of everyone involved, and I believe it turned out good. So! Eeh hee hee, still can't believe it!

In regards to my old stories (the ones from 2002 and around that time) I'm sad to say I don't see myself ever continuing or updating any of them. I won't say I won't EVER, but I'm in a different place from when I wrote those. Remember, I was 13-15 at the time, and it's been over twelve or so years since then. I know many of you keep on asking me if I'm going to continue, but the answer'll probably always be the same. I'm sorry. These include:
