Any impressions you have help me become a better writer.

I am back now and finishing up my story, "A Song for Sansa and Sandor". I tried to write it close to GRRM's style so that it could feel like it fit in the ASOIAF universe. I think the show just doesn't "get" SanSan and we haven't had a book for so long that it feels very cathartic for me to write this fic. I get to write the story of my favorite characters, how I wish it played out, and I feel I stayed true to the characters and gave them a satisfying adventure to exist in.

I really hope you read it, enjoy it, and share it because I love hearing from my readers and other ASOIAF fans.

Well a lot has happened with me in the past few months, and when I remember the last letter I posted here it seems like a very long time ago. Most of what has happened has been bad. In a way, I feel all that I have left is this tale of Sansa and Sandor that I started writing over one year ago. The people who leave regular comments are an inspiration to me--it's easy to imagine myself reading/writing/dreaming? it for the first time when I read your comments. I feel kind of horrible for taking so long, but I have made a commitment to finish the story no matter what. (I guess it isn't as long as some people *cough*GRRM*cough*. Just kidding, his books are way longer than mine. And also more original.) My goal is to do basically nothing but write this summer so we'll see how it goes--wish me luck!
