Alex Hicks was a charater I created out of the blue. I guess she was always hiding but how she just came onto the page would make me think otherwise. One night I was watching RFR (Radio Wars epidode if you were interested). I was watching Waller and I came to thinking "What would a relative of his be like?" When the show was long over and another re-run of Degrassi came on, I was still thinking of Waller's supposed relative. The most I thought the more questions I had. How close a relative are we talking? Gender, race, backround? As the questions came up I actually starting answering them. Relationship, niece (I don't want to write Waller as a dad just yet). Gender, female. As I was answering the picture of this character came together. Throw in some Waller, a splash of Daria, a smigen of me, and lots of black, Alex was born.

I didn't start writing with her in RFR fics at first. I wasn't even writing them yet. I was just using her in my personal stories. Then when I decided to start writing RFR fics I just felt the need to use her, so "The New Girl" was basically writing her into Roscoe. I like how RFR gang and Alex mesh so much I wrote a follow up called "Pink Slip." After that was done I quickly started "Down the Road." It was a different project than to what I was used to. Each chapter went through several re-writes and the plot went through some major overhauls. I'm very proud of that fic.

As for contacting me, I am always open to emails at my email address. I like to recieve IM at both my aol and yahoo screennames (same as my email screename antigony86). I online often enough and you just may actually catch me. As long as you say you are on FF.net I'll know to talk to you. That's just about it.
