Three years since my last bio, and I am now 23 years old...writing stories based on a cartoon. I swear I'm grown up! I work for the government right now, but I'm also a commissioned artist, big sister to an especially talented 18-year-old up-coming actor, devoted friend, loving pseudo-girlfriend, race car driving, movie watching, Blue's Clues collecting, David Bowie obsessed, Final Fantasy playing, Decemberists stalking, musically inclined, shoe shopping, work-a-holic (you know, when I'm not writing fics). Hehe. That about sums me up, as far as hobbies and my every waking moments go.

I write often (my job is sort of boring with a lot of downtime), however, the chances of those stories ever seeing another screen other then the ones I look at is extremely low. My past stories in misc. places deter me from posting; I hardly ever finish them. So I now wait until something is completed before posting, which has been a few years now before that's happened -_-;

Currently I am posting "Appa", and Avatar fic inspired by Firefly (the TV show made by the Buffy guy...go watch it if you haven't yet!). I enjoy writing in first person, so...STFU to those of you who think reading FP, plus changing the character's POV is difficult...my stories will probably drive you insane. I just think it's more fun to hear the character's thoughts--you gain a lot more knowledge about them in a quicker time. 'Appa' is no exception. There's about 8 characters as the staples, and all eight will consistantly have their moments to tell the story in their own words. Each AtLA character take on attributes of Firefly characters, as well as obtaining their own individual identity that makes the show so good. Yup...any questions, like why I made Katara "Wash", just ask, I'll be glad to explain it _

My previous story, "Five Years", an Avatar Fic, was inspired by "The Last Five Years", the musical. If you're not familiar with it, I highly suggest you check it out, it has an interesting story telling device in which the only two character's lives criss cross, Cathy starting from the end and working backwards, Jamie starting from the beginning. In my case, Katara starts from the end and Zuko is at the beginning. This fic is complete, with no chance for a sequel, though I know everyone hoped for a different ending...meh.
