This is where I list things about myself that you'll probably read even though you have better things to do, right?

Do I have to be a fan to write fanfiction? I mean, to me, being a fan of something involves being satisfied with the product just the way it is. Any attempt to add on to it with silly non canon "what if" stories would just serve as an insult to an already enjoyable piece of entertainment.

So I won't be writing about Inception. I won't be writing about Discworld. I won't be writing about Cowboy Bebop, Kirby, or Golden Sun. These things are all good enough, and it's not my place to invent unnecessary continuity or reinvent the story in a different setting or force two random characters to have screaming sexual intercourse in a hot air balloon in space. If I have more than a passing interest in it, you probably wont see it in any of my stories.

Besides, the less I know about something, the more I have to learn, which is half the fun, right? Ignorance is bliss after all!
