In Which I Introduce Myself : HIYA, everyone! I'm Jryni (surprise, surprise)! Most writer people say things like: "Hi, these are my muses," just about now and then start introducing anywhere from one to fifteen inspirational, imaginary people. But not me. Cause I *AM* a muse! Yup- imaginary flesh and blood and all. Kewl, neh? I play muse to the Digimon, Gundam Wing, and DragonballZ loving Nani Chang (and yes, she knows that Nani means "what" in Japanese, but she doesnt care, so nyah)! She chose me to do the fanfic-ing because out of all of her other people (Aurani, Demni, & Yumi), I spend the most time obsessing over animes at fanfiction.net. Ent it kewl? ^^ In Which I Rant About What I Stand For : Basically, I am an ex-rabid-digi-gundam-dbz-fangirl currently out on a Digimon revival. I have been very disappointed (and P.O.-ed) to find that people are now: (a) writing more goddamned Soratos than ever; (b)using the STUPID, MUNDANE, American names; and (c) lack of yaoi/yuri. First of all, what the SMEG is up with the friggin' Sorato? Eh? I'm asking you as a person: do you really believe in Sorato? Sorato is just about as f*cked up as astronaut Yama is (or as wuffers would put it: INJUSTICE!). I mean, come on! Annoying, overdramatic red-head + cool, deep, quiet, teenaged hottie DOES NOT = chemistry. In fact, it equals severely pissed off blond, blue-eyed, teenaged hottie ('cause he didn't get his Taichi! ^^). I don't mean everything MUST be yaoi- I mean, even MIMATO is better that the other damned coupling that I dare not say again in this paragraph, for fear of being doomed to bear the wrath of God! Before I conclude this section of my merry rant, might I add that *THE* most annoying excuse is, "Well, it really happened in the series." When people say this, I DO believe I have the right to imply that they do not have a mind of their own. And that they have to worship the idea of a company that is probably run on MONKEY CRACK! MONKEY CRACK, YOU READ?! I swear, Toei Animations had several tons over the recommended dose of some dangerously potent hallucinagen when they wrote the ending. I don't know what it was (and I dont *WANT* to know what it was), but they were most definitely high on something. So to you *insert previously damned coupling here* writing people: GET A FRIGGIN' LIFE AND ACTUALLY STOP TO THINK ABOUT THE COUPLING YOU'RE WRITING ABOUT! AND IF YOU HAVE THE BRAIN CAPACITY, ALSO TRY TO THINK ABOUT ALL THOSE POOR TOILET BOWLS THAT WILL BE STAINED BECAUSE OF YOUR PATHETIC, CLICHE FICS! Not pretty, eh? PEOPLE! What is wrong with "Yamato"?! Or "Taichi"?! Is "Daisuke" or "Takeru" too much to ask for? Is it just too difficult for you to add two or three letters? As for Yolei: get it in your heads- it's MIYAKO! "Izzy" is Koushiro! "Cody" is Iori! And "Rika" is RUKI! But the worst one yet: *HENRY* is THE stupidest name (for this anime character; if YOUR name is Henry, it's a good name... for you.. um.. ehe? ^^;;;). GOD! What is wrong with Lee? It's a good name and even the average American-version-of-English speaking person should have no problem pronouncing it! Do you realize how unprofessional/juvenile/fake constant usage of American names makes a fic seem? Occasionally, like once or twice; forgivable. But all the goddamned TIME? You call yourself a digimon fan and don't even know/use their proper names?! Sheesh! And lastly, on a slightly calmer note, the lack-of-yaoi/yuri-osis. Who says, lets say, Yama-sama isn't gay? Or that any of the other digi-guys are straight as a friggin' ram-rod? No one? Exactly. People- what is wrong with yaoi? Really? It's a perfectly realistic situation today! So some of you say, "Ew! Gay is bad! My Koushie/Heero/Take/Duo/You-get-the-point-kun is NOT a fag (not that I would dream of calling/considering ANYONE a "fag")!" What's so gross about it? Why are some of you people so friggin' narrow minded? People are bi/gay by nature; do you think they want to be oppressed by society? Shammed by the stupid, cold, unaccepting, too-goddamn-orthodox world? No one does! And though I'm straight myself (so I'm not dissing straight people either), I do happen to have friends that are bi. And these people are downright brilliant. So *try* yaoi/yuri, will you? If you're a girl, you really might like it. You're going to face it in society anyway, so why not try it now? On a final note: Are you mad about what you just read (if you read it at all)? Do you feel rather angry with me? Feel free to email me at jyrni@hotmail.com. You should remember, though, that once you email me flames, I can't guarantee they'll be kept private, even if you ask me to. I'll probably post them here (MST-ed, of course) and send them to active yaoi/yuri supporters I know... Well, that sure took me a while. If you're finally gonna go read my fic(s) now, please review? *puppy eyes* Pretty please? They REALLY push me to write! I just LOVE feedback! Even flames! They keep my poor, little, imaginary fingers nice and toasty! ^^ Bye-bye, now! ~Jryni |
