Hi! I'm Pika, and I'm an all-purpose fangirl. I'm more of the Photoshop abusin' sort of fan (read: I make stupid LJ icons) than the fiction writing variety, but I most definitely enjoy reading fic, hence my account here. Yes yes, I know I don't have to be logged in to read stuff, but I wanted an account I could use to leave reviews, keep track of favorite stories, and all that fun stuff.

Other than that, here are the fandoms that currently possess my soul or have at one point done so, or at least possessed whatever tattered and foul bits of my soul still remain after having sold the large majority of it to Lord Voldemort, eBay, etc.

Harry Potter - This is my primary love and the fandom that has utterly swallowed my life. I spend multiple hours every day screwing around on HP sites. I meet up with people from aforementioned sites and go to book releases and movie premieres in full Quidditch regalia. If you think this is odd, you're probably right, and that's a big part of what makes it so much fun. I ship Harry\Draco and Remus\Sirius. I also ship Cho\Avada Kedavra.

Star Trek Voyager - My secondary love. If the Harry Potter fandom was my wife, the Voyager fandom would be the buxom secretary I was having a torrid affair with on the side. I love this show. I love the characters, I love the plot, I love the fact that it's actually EXCITING as opposed to just a giant pile of boring extraterrestrial political crap. I think I was a Klingon in a past life. Hell, I think I'm a Klingon in THIS life. I also think Kirk vs Picard debates are utterly insane, because it's fairly obvious that Janeway could whup them both. Yeah okay, Kirk was a badass, but not enough of a badass to have a reformed borg drone as a concubine, a feat which Janeway was clearly able to accomplish. (Chakotay? Who the hell's Chakotay? Lalalala I can't heeeeeear yoooooou...)

Tales of Symphonia - Love the game. The fandom made me cry. But I still read fic sometimes, especially when there's good Zelos\Lloyd or Regal\Raine to be found. Or Kratos\Yuan. Not that I have a thing for ambiguously gay half-elves and bondage or anything.

Pokemon - This started out as a whimsical indulgence, and before I knew it, I was travelling all over the place to compete in Gameboy tournaments. I have no shame, and I never claimed I did.

The X-Files - My first fandom, my first love. I learned the finer points of lovemaking and government conspiracies from spending my formative years reading Mulder\Scully porn.

The Matrix - It was all going so well until they had to go and make that third movie...
