Update As Of October 6th 2012

Wow, I can't believe it's been three years (again!) since I've updated anything! (I'm sorry!) It seems when I take a haitus from this site it usually only spans about three years before I come crawling back like a relapsed addict. (And if you think about it, that's exactly what I am.) I am now 24 years old and having re-read some of my favorite stories on here (for the millionth time, but who's counting?) I think my creative writing juices are flowing again. After stumbling across some of my favorites that have gone unfinished in the last 3-5 years or so, I got a little taste of how frustrating it is to love a story and have it leave you hanging. Therefore, I have decided to resume my progress of Devious and actually finish this instead of scrapping it like I did with 2 of my other stories I went on hiatus from. After that who knows? I may knock out another fic. I will admit life has thrown me some rather interesting curve balls that have prevented me from writing but I am prepared to knock them ouf of the park instead of striking out. Now enough of my sentimental babble.

And the occasional Harry/Female Blaise or Harry/Pansy if it's well written. I also seem to really like making Pansy the villian in my stories. She is just so fun to write as the mentally unstable crazy stalker bitch we all love to hate.

The Kate Daniels Series by Ilona Andrews. Urban fantasy. Female lead is wonderfully sarcastic and witty and the male lead is a shapeshifter lion with a bad temper. Mmmm. ;)

The Night Huntress Series by Jeaniene Frost. Adult Vampire novels. Another wondefully vivacious female lead with a quick tongue. Very steamy. Male lead reminds me of Spike from Buffy. Nuff said.

Things to know:

While reading any of my HP stories you will note that I will probably not stick with cannon because I think that stunts my creativity. As much as I love J.K. and her work, I'm still pissed that she killed off some of my favorite characters to write. Particularly, Sirius Black, Colin Creevey and one of my beloved twins, Fred Weasley. I will tell you right now that almost all my stories will still contain them. Oh along with Dumbledore, the occasional Tonks, Lupin and even Hedwig if my mood allows.
