Update as of 10/20/17 -

Yeah, so, everything below from a year ago still applies. That being said though, I've actually been making some progress on A Home for the Holidays, and with any luck, I'll actually get it finished so that anyone still waiting for me to post it can enjoy it this Christmas. :)

Update as of 6/7/16 -

It's been embarrassingly long since I was on here and honestly since I've written much of anything. That being said, I DO intend to finish A Home for the Holidays, and a few other stories I have in the works. At this point though, my intent is to get as close to finishing each story as I can before I post them, so that I don't leave you fabulous readers hanging for years at a time. For those delays and waits, I sincerely apologize - real life has a way of sucking all of my time, it's something I'm working on. I do have a one shot Karoline song inspired fic that's been sitting on my hard drive...another one of those that literally drove me from bed in the middle of the night until it was written, but it needs to visit my fabulous beta before I post it.

Anyways, all that to say that I haven't disappeared, contrary to all appearances, and I fully intend to return as soon as I can manage.

I've never been any good at figuring out what to put in these spots, but here goes...

I've always loved to write. I actually have notebooks and pages of stories I wrote when I was younger, and some outlines for stories that have yet to been committed to paper in full form. I started reading fan fiction quite a while ago for Veronica Mars, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Firefly. Somewhere in the last few years, I started reading fan fiction again for The Vampire Diaries, and was hooked.

There are so many wonderful writers here with unique styles and intriguing plots. Not long after I started reading TVD fan fiction, I started messaging with the incredibly talented 2serendipity. Long story short, I became her beta and she became an amazing friend (and now betas for me as well). If you haven't had the pleasure of reading her stories, I strongly urge you to head over and check them out on her profile. (http://www.fanfiction.net/u/2585285/2serendipity) All of her stories are fantastic, though my personal favorite is Shadowdancing. In all her stories, but this one in particular, 2serendipity has a natural gift for weaving a spell with her words that enthralls you and completely captivates your attention. I'm pretty sure there have been times I've forgotten to breathe when reading her work!

After a lot of thought, waiting for inspiration and constant encouragement from 2serendipity, I decided to try my hand at the world of fan fiction. It's been a lot of fun, although I've come to the realization that I am far from consistent in my writing, in terms of time, which is something I'm trying to work on. Real life has a nasty habit of demanding my time and attention more often than not. That being said, I promise that even though there may be ridiculously long lapses between my updates, I will NEVER abandon a story. And as for the lapses, I'm working to make that much better too. :)

I've met some truly incredible writers on here through their stories. If you're looking for something good to read, I encourage you to browse through my Favorite Authors tab, there is some amazing talent in there! (and I'll be honest, I've found some of the best stories by browsing THEIR favorites tabs!)

Story Statuses

A Home for the Holidays -

Chapter 7 - Hot Chocolate is up! I promise I haven't abandoned this, I'm actually (FINALLY) starting to make some progress on it again - slow, but moving forward at least. If all goes according to plan, you should be able to enjoy the rest of the story this Christmas 2017.

New Stories -

I have a few other ideas waiting to be given my attention, but for now, my focus will be on getting out this Klaroline two-shot and finishing A Home for the Holidays. I wish I had the attention and ability to manage multiple fics at once, but I will have to leave that wonderful talent to my friend, OKBooey31. (another incredible author, you should really check her stories out, I'm continually amazed at the speed with which she puts out great new material)
