About me

I'm 23, male, and a Sagittarius (Ophiuchus if you believe that new 13th sign tomfoolery). I enjoy reading, writing, anime, competitive sports, martial arts, music, and tabletop gaming. My hobbies include cooking, archery, designing game modules, and discussing music.

I enjoy science fiction and fantasy themed speculative fiction, esp. action and mystery oriented titles. I also enjoy the occasional pure drama, or romantic comedy, but I'm a lot more picky when it comes to those.

My favorite book of all time is "Dune" by Frank Herbert. My favorite anime of all time is Eureka 7. My favorite completed manga is Fullmetal Alchemist by Hiromu Arakawa. My favorite airing TV show is NCIS. My favorite band is Coheed and Cambria. My favorite style of cooking is Classic American Barbeque.

I'm also a fan of the Detroit Lions pro football team, and I'm not afraid to admit it! =D

I am currently learning Japanese independently, in tandem with several online and commercial resources. In addition to my studies, I work for a living. What do I do? Well, that's a secret! ;D

I really hate my allergies in the spring. Unfortunately, I also happen to rather enjoy having my own personal herb garden. These things tend to act in tandem against each other. It's irritating. Why can't plants simply decide, 'hey, lets not make people sneeze'! After all, it'd be the courteous thing to do. Stupid plants.
