Hello! I'm Emily Ray, also known as Starszie or Starzie, and despite what you might think, I'm not really a newbie. In fact, I've been here for nearly three years, but since I was eleven years old three years ago I want to distance myself from that rather embarassing past self and make a fresh start.

So, about me - I read voraciously, mostly fantasy, some of my favourite authors being Terry Pratchett, JK Rowling, Tamora Pierce, Robin Hobb, David Eddings, Robert Jordan, and Lynn Flewelling. I also write a lot. Most of my writings are original, and therefore not here - you can find them at Writing.Com.

I also draw, in a manner which quite pleases me until I look at what everybody else can do. You can find my fantasy pictures at my Elfwood gallery, and I'm in the process of creating a website where I can post the non-fantasy ones.
