![]() My favorite show is Once Upon A Time & I consider myself a ONCER, EVIL REGAL, HOODIE, PRETTIE & a member of the OUTLAW QUEEN fandom. The storytelling from all aspects of the show is amazing. I've never watched anything else like it before in my life. I have several favorite characters, to include the likes of Robin Hood, Captain Hook Killian Jones, Wicked Witch Zelena Mills, Mr. Gold aka Rumplestiltskin & yes, even Emma Swan, though only with Seasons 1 thru 4. After that, I felt the writers ruined what I loved about her character. However, it is the character Regina Mills aka The Evil Queen that has mesmerized me since the beginning. I cannot get enough of her character, her story and her relationship pairing with Robin Hood. Both talents, Lana Parrilla & Sean Maguire, have captured my heart. I will forever ship Regina & Robin together for all of my days. Thank you to all of the fan fiction writers who have posted stories in order to keep the love of Outlaw Queen alive! In November 2016, I attended my first convention in Atlanta Georgia, meeting both Rebecca Mader (Wicked Witch Zelena Mills) & Sean Maguire (Robin Hood). It was the most memorable moment of my life, one I will never forget! In October 2017, I attended my second convention in Whippani New Jersey where I finally met Lana Parrilla (The Evil Queen Regina Mills), Jennifer Morrison (Emma Swan) & Colin O'Donohue (Captain Hook Killian Jones) and had another opportunity to meet Rebecca Mader. I survived meeting The Evil Queen. I had dreamed of that moment many times and can now claim it as my reality. Lana was a sweetheart and I will never forget the moment I met her! In June 2018, I am scheduled to attend my third convention in Orlando Florida, where I will meet Lana Parrilla & Colin O'Donohue for a 2nd time. I have my hopes of also meeting Rebecca Mader & Sean Maguire once again in the not to distant future! One last thing - I may be true to my ship of Outlaw Queen, but I have found over my time spent exploring the writings and YouTube videos created by others, that I also enjoy other pairings for Regina Mills, to include SwanQueen. I admit that the writers of Once missed a mark when they chose not to venture out and explore a love interest relationship between Regina and Emma. There are moments throughout the series that could have supported an introduction to that concept but instead, the writers chose different paths for each character. So, with that being said, I also support SwanQueen and validate that yes, there was a chemistry between Regina and Emma that had its own story to be told had the writers chosen a different story to tell. And if it had come to pass, I am certain that I would have been one to ship them together just as so many others do today. |
