A few days after the 'Born This Way' performance, Santana gives her beard-boyfriend a t-shirt of his own. But he doesn't get why she chose the words she did, and when he asks, he realizes that Santana, in her own twisted way, actually cares about him.

"I'm clinging to my last threads of sanity, hoping that you can drive faster than she can figure out the barbeque lighter." Brittany's happy that Kurt's back. Kurt's hoping her enthusiasm doesn't get them all killed. Blaine has no idea what's going on.

And that's why Steve feels a little idiotic for being so surprised on their first morning waking up together.
