Twitter favorites were born in 2006 but in 2015, Twitter likes button officially replaced the favorite button. The favorite concepts transformed to likes similar to what happened with Facebook. There are half a dozen forms of engagement and interactions you can have on Twitter, but ‘like’ is the most frequently used one.
