Greetings, fellow fanfiction readers! As you may well know, I'm Tala Aislin, pleased to meet you too. I'm fourteen, female, and going to high school. Or, depending on the time you read this, I'm already in high school. No personal information, sorry. I've been taught very well to keep my personal info...well...personal. But I can tell you that my favorite anime/cartoon (which is it? ff.net classifies it as anime, but it's French. Not exactly anime-material.) is Code: Lyoko. It's new, it's rather unpopular among younger children, and I just absolutely love it. I'm a hardcore Ulrich/Yumi fan, as well as a Jeremy (Jeremie, for the fickle readers)/Aelita pairing, and Odd (Od)/Samantha fan. Samantha's such a minor character: I plan to change that. I have only slight plans as to the plot of my new story, untitled as of yet. It'll be very AU, OOC, and very gushy. No Yaoi/Yuri. I can't stand it. No, I'm not against gay/lesbian marriages: as a matter of fact, I support those brave enough to stand for what's right. It's just that I don't want young minds as innocent as eight or nine to be contaminated with that junk. They read this stuff too, and no offense to the Yaoi/Yuri writers, but those stories are just plain wrong. (For the record, I was one of those nine year old readers. My younger brother is one too, and, thankfully, he listens to every word I say. Nothing over G-rated stories. Sweet lil' fella. Love you, Michael!) I'm easily distracted. Okay, about my story. Not too AU: it's still got Lyoko, the Scanners, The Super Computer/Calculator, but X.A.N.A.'s got a human form. And for those who have no clue who the hell X.A.N.A. is, I suggest you watch Code: Lyoko. If you're a great fantasy addict whodoesn't mind watching the same cell drawings in every episode, go ahead. I'm not stoppin' ya. So. Done here: I'm new to this community, so be nice. But I accept, even welcome flames. I encourage you not to find the good things, but the flaws in my humble stories. I'll try to write them according to your generous suggestions. But don't be too mean. After all, I'm human. I think. -Tala Aislin (And if you noticed or was just curious, 'Tala' means 'wolf' in Native American, 'Aislin' means 'dream' in Celtic/Gaelic. Because I'm such a great fan, I named myself after my favorite couple: 'Ulrich', or commonly, in Scandinavian, 'Ulric' means 'wolf', and 'Yumi', or, commonly, as in the Inuyasha ending theme 'Owari-Nai Yume', 'Yume' means 'dream'. It's only my penname, my real name's not available to your public viewing. Got this stuff from babynames.com: great site. Check it out if you need names for your stories: it's where I get mine.)
