Hi, I'm Shiny Marble, also known as Jellybean, Dee, or Dnut, pleased to meet ya. =)

I'm a fangirl (I admit it), and of many things, including: Bleach, Death Note, Kuroshitsuji, Doctor Who, Black Books, Red Dwarf, Black Adder, oh-so-many vampire shows and books, and recently Supernatural, Sherlock, the Mentalist and Psych have also made it into my list of favourites.

And the Almighty Johnsons. If you haven't seen it you SO SHOULD. It's a NZ based (and filmed) show featuring Norse mythology - where some of the characters are reincarnations of various Norse Gods living under the radar in New Zealand. AND THEY'RE FREAKING AWESOME!!!!
It's quite popular in NZ, Australia and England too (which I didn't expect), so if you're a fan of Norse Mythology and know a little (or want to know more) about New Zealand (or even just like our accents, which I'm given to understand that a few Americans do) - go to watching it. And then tell your friends. =)
Just a warning though, us New Zealanders aren't nearly as uptight about swearing on TV as some countries, and so there is quite a lot of 'f-words' etc that are used.

I'm enjoying writing fanfiction and it's helping me be a better writer, and it makes me happy when I'm in meltdown mode. I have written a few fanpoems of both Bleach and Doctor Who (but not together) and have completed a longer fic (over 27000 words of actual storyline content) called the Butler and the Doctor. My awesome friend was (and still is, bless her little cotton socks) my editor and she's amazing. Go check her out, she's nzotaku, and she's freaking awesome! =) =)

Current Fic Status:

Supernaturally Bad Luck - a Supernatural/Discworld crossover fic where the Winchester brothers accidentally fall into the Discworld (Lancre to be exact) after a hunt involving witches goes badly wrong. Chapters one through three are up, four in the process of beta-ing, and chapter five is in the beginning stages of writing.

From the Diary - a series of cannon-compliant Doctor Who one-shots written as diary entries from various characters perspectives, currently Jackie Tyler and Donner Noble. No concrete plans for the next installment, but almost any character is free game (not the Doctor though, I don't think he'd write his feelings down) - and if you have a preference review or PM me and I might write their story next. Keep in mind, this is my casual fic - no story structure between chapters and all within the realms of the Doctor Who universe.

The Real Ones - I have started writing a Bleach fic starring Rangiku, set during the time of preparation for the Winter War (after the betrayal of Aizen, Tousen and Ichimaru). This will be a long-ish fic and I am planning on writing all of it before I post any of it, to ensure that every part of it should be where it is, and people aren't left hanging for months at a time between my updates.

(Currently Untitled) Originally going to be Superlock fic, but is looking more and more like it'll be a clearly Superwholock fic by the second or third chapter. Unposted so far because I'm still in the initial stages of the first chapter.

New Fic Plans:

I am planning on writing an 11th Doctor one-shot (or short fic) with Amy (and not Rory), to be set in Scotland. Will be just a site-seeing type of trip, showing Amy some of the wonders of the universe.
I'm hoping to write some one-shots with Rose in the Alternate Universe. Nothing solid yet.

Please note: I have no plans to write anything more for my 'The Butler and the Doctor' storyline, and it's unlikely that I'll ever write a full-fic sequel to it (not including 'Goodbye to a Demon and His Boy', obviously).

Anyway, I hope you all enjoy reading my stuff, because I certainly enjoyed writing it.
