Kate is a lawyer who whorks a lot and one day she gets involved in a case. This case has a powerful killer. One day Rick and Kate met at the coffee shop and he ask her out but she declines because she thinks that he is a playboy.

They're both muddling through life. Her days are full of politics and paperwork. His are spent surfing the web in his underwear and buying gadgets to drive his mother crazy.
